The Fetească Regală Discovery Case

Fetească Regală — "the royal maiden" — is Romania and Moldova's own aromatic white grape, first identified in the 1920s near Sighișoara. In Moldova it finds its finest voice in the Codru hills, where forested slopes and cooler nights push it toward mineral freshness rather than heaviness.

This case gathers six bottles from four Moldovan estates, showing the grape from every angle: on its own, blended with international varieties, and finished as a traditional-method sparkling.

What's inside:

• Fautor 310 Altitudine Chardonnay & Fetească Regală — Pale green, opening with lime blossom and jasmine before drifting into white peach and citrus pith. Chardonnay supplies the backbone, Fetească Regală the perfume.
• Fautor Aurore Fetească Regală — 100% varietal. Pale straw-gold with green reflections, an explosive nose of jasmine, and fine floral and citrus notes. Structured, complex, and fruity through the finish.
• Domaine la Prut Sparkling Wine Brut — Riesling and Fetească Regală, made by traditional method with a second fermentation in the bottle. Fine, persistent bubbles with an orchard-blossom, citrus lift.
• Domaine la Prut Cuvée Symphonie — A four-variety blend of Fetească Regală, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, and Riesling. Acacia blossom, lemon peel, and green apple, smooth and balanced.
• Crama Mircești Fetească Regală — 100% varietal. Delicate jasmine and acacia over tropical fruit, a velvety texture, and vibrant freshness. Elegant as an aperitif, versatile with food.
• Castel Mimi Sânzienele — A blend of Fetească Regală, Fetească Albă, and Viorica, named for Sânziene, the midsummer night of Moldovan folklore. Sweetly floral with unripe apricot, grapefruit, and gooseberry.
