Mied from 7 Vinuri is a refined interpretation of one of the world’s oldest beverages – mead.

Crafted by fermenting natural bee honey with warm water, this low-alcohol drink connects tradition with modern craftsmanship. A moderate golden color that recalls the richness of honey itself. Fresh and inviting bouquet with citrus, floral notes, honey, and a delicate touch of propolis.

Historical note Known since antiquity, mead has traveled through cultures and centuries. The Greeks referred to it as “mead,” combining meli (honey) and hydor (water). Among the Slavs, it was called medu or medovuha, while the Romanians cherished it as mied. Today, 7 Vinuri keeps this tradition alive in Moldova’s terroir of Chișinău.
