Created in honor of Constantin Mimi, The Governor’s Blend combines the finest traits of Castel Mimi’s most representative red grape varieties from the 2020 harvest.
Cabernet Sauvignon provides immense aging potential, Feteasca Neagra contributes traditional fruitiness, and Saperavi adds aromatic spice nuances. An intense ruby wine with deep purple hues, on the nose captivates with prune and saffron aromas, while the palate reveals rich hints of blueberry and blackberry.
Matured in French oak barrels, the aftertaste is deep and complex, with notes of coffee and dark chocolate. This elegant, full-bodied dry red wine from Moldova's Codru wine region can be enjoyed now or cellared for years.
