In the glass, this Riesling Ried Seeberg displays a stunning golden yellow color with a silver sheen, hinting at both its freshness and its richness.

The vibrant hue reflects the wine's youth and vitality. The bouquet is inviting and complex, characterized by fresh yellow tropical fruit and light peach. Delicate hints of mango and pineapple mingle with floral nuances and a touch of blossom honey, creating a harmonious and enticing aromatic profile.

On the palate, this Riesling is juicy and vibrant. It opens with flavors of white peach and yellow apple, complemented by a fresh acidity that provides a lively and refreshing counterpoint to the fruit. The mid-palate reveals a dark minerality, adding depth and complexity to the wine. A refined fruit sweetness emerges on the finish, enhancing the overall tasting experience.

The finish is long and satisfying, marked by a delicate balance of fruit sweetness and fresh acidity. This wine's structure and complexity suggest a strong potential for aging, promising even greater depth and integration of flavors over time.

James Suckling Review September 2022: 92 points

Falstaff Riedencup 2022: 94 points

Located at approximately 300 meters above sea level, the Riede Seeberg vineyard is oriented towards the south and southwest. The soil is characterized by silvery glistening mica schist interspersed with amphibolite, which extends to the surface.

These conditions create silty-sandy weathered soils, primarily calcareous-free brown earth, contributing to the unique terroir of the vineyard.

Thanks to its balanced sweetness, it pairs beautifully with Asian and Indian cuisine. Ideal with spicy curries, sweet-sour dishes and boldly seasoned wok creations. Also excellent with light Asian starters such as crispy vegetable bites or herb-driven small plates, as well as refined fish dishes with lime and fresh herbs.
