The Ried Lamm vineyard is located at the southeastern foot of the Heiligenstein, one of the hottest sites in the wine-growing region.

The soil is rich in limestone, composed of clay-sandy silt formed on loess. Higher up towards the Heiligenstein, the loess gives way to the limestone-free silt and sandstones of the Zöbing formation. This unique terroir imparts distinctive mineral characteristics to the wine, contributing to its complexity and depth.

The wine displays a medium yellow-green color with silver reflections, indicating its youthful vibrancy and clarity. On the nose, the wine presents subtle notes of honeydew melon intertwined with candied orange zest, offering a sweet yet zesty aromatic profile.

The palate is juicy and well-balanced, showcasing good complexity and a multi-faceted character. The wine's mineral qualities shine through, adding a sense of terroir and structure. Its texture is silky and smooth, enhancing the overall mouthfeel.

A subtle fruit sweetness, reminiscent of yellow apple, lingers pleasantly on the finish. With its well-structured body and balanced acidity, this wine shows promising development potential.
